Diver loses consciousness while attempting to break deep diving world record
According to the "Daily Mail" report on December 2, a professional free diver Lozano lost consciousness at a depth of 410 feet (about 125 meters) underwater while trying to break the world record for the deepest dive in the Caribbean Sea.
It is reported that Lozano did not carry a cylinder of compressed air during the diving. He held his breath throughout the diving. He lost consciousness when he reached 410 feet underwater. This depth is only 6 feet (about 1.83 meters) lower than the world record. Five divers launched rescue action immediately after the incident.
As Lozano became limp, another diver quickly covered his mouth to prevent him from choking into the water while he was unconscious. The rescue team cooperated meticulously and returned Lozano to the surface.
At present, Lozano's physical condition has recovered. He also forwarded the video recording the rescue process on his social platform, and praised: "Their performance is impeccable."
